Alachua County Sheriff
Sadie Darnell

I am honored and privileged to be part of the Philippine Association’s induction of officers’ ceremony. After having served as your Sheriff for almost nine months, I have had the opportunity to meet some of you through various civic organizations, business meetings and at work at the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office. It is my hope to meet more of you through your association’s civic services in Alachua County , which I understand involves many, many volunteer outreach programs.
Your association is a vital key to the rich diversity of our community and I am proud to be a part of this recognition today as we celebrate that diversity.
Let me take a moment to tell you of my beliefs:
- I believe in leadership based on collaboration and service.
- I believe in inclusion and diversity.
- I believe in passion for justice.
I look forward to working with you and the Philippine Association as I lead under these beliefs.
Congratulations to the newly elected officers!
Sincerely,
Sadie Darnell
