2 cans condensed milk 1 small bag of nuts (growers plain) 1 box powdered sugar 2 tbsp white sugar cellophane (for final wrapping) 1/2 cup of water

Instructions: Put the 1/2 cup of water following the 2 tbsp of sugar and sm bag of growers plain nuts, caramelized it until it get's thick.Pour the condesed milk (2 cans) and continue to stir until it turns into mocha color, not brown (otherwise it will be burned) take it off from the pan and let it stand for about 30-40 minutes until it's cold enough for molding.
If it's cold enough that you can touch and not get burned, feel free to mold the yema to the shape you preferred to, I usually make it square for easy wrapping and then roll it to the confectionare sugar or powdered sugar that way it won't be sticky when you eat it.
So after rolling the yema, prefer the cellophane for final wrapping. Keep refrigerated. |
