Ingredients:
Left Ingredients:

Ingredients: pie crust
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/3 cup shortening
1 tsp. salt
5 tbsp cold water

Right Ingredients:

2 cups pineapple tidbits
1 cup chilled (unsweetend) pure pineapple juice
1/4 cup corn starch
1 1/4 cup white sugar

Cooking Instructions:
Instructions: Pre-heat oven to 375'F.

Prepare the 9 inc pie plate

Filling:

In a mixing bowl, put the pinaepple tidbits, pineapple juice, cornstarch, and white sugar. Mix it gradually by a spoon ( not with an electric mixer). Make sure there are no lumps remaining after mixing it. Set aside.

Pie crust:

With a pastry cutter/mixer, mix the flour, salt, & shortening in a bowl. Add cold water 1 teaspoon at a time so it won't be watery. Add enough water to make a dough. Do not over-work the dough. Divide the dough in 2 pieces that the other part is bigger.

Get the bigger part and use a rolling pin until it becomes thin enough and as big as a pie plate. Fold the crust into four and transfer in a pie plate, pour the filling. Do the same thing t the remaining dough to cover the top of the filling. Press the sides so the crust would stick together. Make a alit at the top for the steam to escape. Apply milk or eggwash at the top crust.

Bake within 30 minutes or until the crust turn to brown. Cool it first before serving.
Serving Suggestion: I prefer to serve it while its still hot, but its can be also served cold enough to eat. Slice it with a pie slicer before serving.
Additional Comments: I really like it sweet and that explains the name of it. If you want it to be less sweet, just lessen the sugar content.
