16 slices bread,cubed 1 cup raisens 2 cans(12fl.oz.each)evaporated milk 4 large eggs,slightly beaten 4 tbsp. butter,melted

3/4 cup packed brown sugar 2 tsps. vanilla extract 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2tsp.ground nutmeg caramel sauce(optional)

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F.Grease12x8baking dish.
Combine bread and raisens in large bowl.Combine evap.,eggs,butter,sugar,vanilla,cinnamon & nutmeg in medium bowl.Pour egg mixture into prepared baking dish.Let stand for 10 mins.
Bake for 35 to 45 mins. or until center is set.Serve warm with caramel sauce. |
